This monster page is really fun to make and to play with. You can make the features for the monster any color you want. It is a two page spread with a pocket on the left and the monster body on the right.
Here is the pattern and some basic instructions:
You will need:
(2) 10" by 10" background pages (1 is a pocket)
Several colors of felt scraps
Purple felt
Cut out your monster body and top stitch it onto your background page.
Cut out the different monster features from whatever colors of felt you want.
Make a pocket on your left hand background page. Store the features in the pocket.
